in the future, we need to change the way we look at coffee and its way from the plantations to our coffee cup. Cultivating organic is good, but not enough.

 

Our sustainability

initiatives therefore take a greater grip and embrace all aspects of sustainability – environmental, economic and social.

 

Certification

  • All our coffee is certified. It is important for us that our coffee is grown in an environmentally friendly way and that farmers are paid for their work
  • Organic is good, but not enough. 70% of coffee farmers have small farms and small opportunities for certification
 

Coffee by women – coffee for the future

  • By including more women, a positive effect can be seen on coffee cultivation, as well as in the families and societies where the women live
  • Quality coffee is cultivated mainly by small family farms that usually do not have financial opportunities for certification
  • Education increases the possibility to influence their future as coffee farmers
